Audrey Herndon, DVM

Dr. Herndon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. Dr. Herndon has worked at an AAHA Accredited and Fear Free Certified practice in Erie, Colorado prior to moving to Kansas. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, dermatology and preventative care. 

Dr. Herndon moved to Cheney, Kansas to raise her girls closer to family. She joined our hospital in September of 2023.

She is originally from Indiana, but moved out of the country at a young age and travelled all over the world, graduating highschool in Shanghai, China. Becoming a veterinarian was a childhood dream, because of her love for animals and love of science. 

Dr. Herndon loves being a veterinarian because she gets the honor of caring for people's beloved pets that are often more like family members. 

Outside of working at Bogue Animal Hospital, Dr. Herndon stays quite busy raising her three daughters.
