We have available the following accommodations:
CAT WARD
DOG WARD
DOG WARD
The dog ward is a facility for smaller canines with 12 stainless steel cages, complete with rubber mats. The cages vary in size and we place your dog in a cage appropriate for his size/temperament/needs. Cages are cleaned throughout the day on an ongoing basis and pets are taken outside for walks and personal attention 4 ñ 5 times per day. We offer at no extra charge, Hills Science Diet canine Adult or Puppy food. We also offer Purina Dog Chow and will try to feed each dog on a schedule to which he/she is accustomed.
DOG RUNS
Our facility has 18 run spaces (3' x 6' or 4' x 6'), cleaned daily for your dogs of larger size. Our kennel staff will gladly feed them Hill's Adult or Puppy diet or Purina Dog Chow at no extra charge, and will exercise your pet outdoors and give him/her personal attention 4-5 times daily. Any health needs or observations are brought to the attention of the doctors and treated accordingly. Feel free to bring that favorite toy or blanket or bone but please label them.
BOARDING VACCINATION PROTOCOL
Proof of vaccination must be on file prior to time of check-in. Please make sure that we have current documentation. We would be happy to call your regular veterinarian if you are a new client or only use our facility for boarding services. If your pet is due for vaccines, we would be happy to administer them upon arrival.
CANINES
RABIES- All canine boarders must be current within the last year or three years on Rabies (depending on your veterinarianís recommendation).
DISTEMPER/PARVO- Distemper must have been given within the last year.
BORDETELLA- A Bordetella booster, also known as kennel cough, must have been completed and current within the last six months.
FECAL EXAMINATION- Due to the type of facility we operate, a fecal exam is required to have been completed within the last year with a negative result. If a fecal exam has not been done within the last year, an exam will be completed upon arrival to our facility. If an intestinal parasite is discovered, your pet will be treated for it with appropriate medications while boarding. Any remaining medication will be sent home upon discharge with further instructions.
If a fecal exam has been done within the last year with a positive result, proof or documentation of treatment will need to be provided along with the date of a necessary follow up fecal. If your pet is due for its follow up fecal while boarding, it will be provided upon arrival. These measures are enforced for the safety of your pet and our kennel staff.
